A walk in Copenhagen 

It was on Saturday, November 22nd.

We wanted to participate in the jubilee, which takes place in Rome.

All three language groups were represented: the English, Danish and French speaking groups. We started with a prayer in Sakramentskirken. Afterwards we crossed the bridge (Dronning Louises Bro), passed through the Kongens Have and headed off to the cathedral. We've made three short stops to pray the rosary.

We passed through the holy door. We have received an absolution and we have received a candle, which we will light at home.

It was a very nice day. Maybe we could do it again in January, when the door closes.

The original invitation

Each year is different. But Jesus came one year for Christmas and we can feast it well every year and very well every 25 years. With hope.

I will be with you every day until the end of time, says Jesus in the Gospel.

You are invited to a short pilgrimage from Sakramentskirken to Sankt Ansgar Kirke. Together we can prepare for the upcoming celebration.

Date: Saturday, November 22nd

Programme

12:30: welcome in the church (Sakramentskirken)

13:00: short prayer and a blessing

13:15: departure to Sankt Ansgar; either walk or public transport

14:00: arrival at Sankt Ansgar, passing through the holy door

14:30: common blessing for the world, confession, souvenir

15:00: coffee

16:00: end
