You have arrived! Day retreat during the Advent season with retreat leader Deacon Michael Münchow (in Danish)
Saturday, 29th November
10:00 AM - 3:30 PM
We invite you to participate in a day retreat, which is offered in connection with the Advent season and as a completion of the Jubilee Year. The theme of the past year was: "Pilgrims of Hope." What does it mean to reach the end of a pilgrim’s journey? What happens within us when our GPS, our host, or Jesus Himself exclaims: "You have arrived!" or simply: "Welcome!"?
We live in a culture of readiness, where it’s all about being on the move and always prepared for the next step. But Jesus trusts us and assures us that we are good enough just as we are. Advent can be about being welcoming and open to being received ourselves.
We will reflect on our way of arriving, using biblical texts and paying attention to where we are in life. The day will include a mix of short presentations and a reflection about selected biblical passages — individually and in small groups.
The aim of the day is that God’s word and presence, through attentiveness and prayer, make this Advent season special for us this year. The day will conclude with a brief meditation.
Everyone is welcome. Max 20 participants.
Light breakfast will be served from 09:30 AM. Please bring your own lunch for you or for sharing.
